Commercial Certificate Outline

The Commercial Pilot Course is comprised of three stages that each culminate in a Stage Check, or assessment, to ensure proficiency milestones are met.

Stage 1
Commercial Maneuvers

The first stage builds on knowledge and maneuvers learned as a private pilot.  You will learn to fly with greater smoothness, precision and be introduced to more challenging VFR maneuvers to enhance your stick and rudder skill.

Stage 2
Line Oriented Flight Training

During this stage you will build experience flying with a partner all over the MidSouth.  These day-long flights reflect the schedules of a typical regional pilot while providing opportunities to develop CRM skills.

Stage 3
Transition to Airline Ops

The last stage of the commercial course focuses on transitioning from General Aviation to Commercial Aviation.  Advanced topics such as upset recovery are introduced to ensure a successful and rewarding career.
